When I say I offer Christian editing services, I take the word “services” to heart. I look at this work as a reflection of 1 Peter 4:10, which tells us to use whatever gift we’ve received to serve others as faithful stewards of God’s grace. So I aim to serve Christian writers with a highly human approach to editing that goes beyond technical skills and fixing mistakes. My Christian editing services include two core offers: book editing and content editing. I specialize in faith-based work, so I typically partner with Christian writers, authors, publishers, ministries, nonprofits, or small businesses. Book Editing
Is your manuscript ready for one of the last stages of the editing process? I offer copyediting and proofreading to help polish and prepare your book for readers’ eyes. My specialties include Bible studies, devotionals, kids Bible storybooks, spiritual growth books, Christian business books, faith-based journals and planners, and select Christian fiction.

What to Expect
If you inquire about my Christian editing services, I will try to get back to you within a business day or two. We can communicate by email or hop on a Zoom call to chat about your editorial needs. If it makes sense, I will complete a free sample edit (up to two pages). From there, I typically create a custom proposal document and eventually a contract to formalize our agreement.
My working hours vary because I have three young kids, but I try to keep all client communications within the traditional business hours of Monday–Friday 9 AM to 5 PM ET.
In most cases, I use Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or Adobe Acrobat to review and edit. With each tool, I use the available editing and mark-up features so you can see all edits. I also use the comment features to insert questions or explanations for your review.
